Dr. Pieper Newest BCH Provider
Dr. Jaime Pieper, the newest family medicine provider at the Beatrice Family & Internal Medicine Clinic, brings a practical, compassionate approach to family medicine.
An Omaha native, Dr. Pieper is a first-generation college student whose path to medicine evolved through her lifelong interest in science, history, animals, and service to others. While she once considered careers in archaeology and veterinary medicine, she ultimately found her calling in human medicine, where she could combine broad medical knowledge with meaningful patient relationships.
Dr. Pieper completed her residency with the Clarkson Family Medicine Resident Program, Omaha. She earned her medical degree from Kansas City University, Joplin, Missouri. She joined the FIM team this month.
Family medicine appealed to Dr. Pieper because of its variety, usefulness, and ability to meet patients where they are.
“I wanted to be incredibly useful, and I’m good at being a jack-of-all trades,” Dr. Pieper said.
A central part of Dr. Pieper’s philosophy is shared decision-making. She believes patients are more likely to follow through with care plans when they understand the recommendations, feel heard, and have a voice in the decisions affecting their health.
After spending several years in Omaha during her medical training, Dr. Pieper and her husband, Jordan, are grateful to be able to settle on a farmstead south of Beatrice to farm and raise their two young sons, Case and Beckett. Jordan is a fifth-generation farmer from Gage County.
Over the past decade, Dr. Pieper has come to appreciate the kindness, work ethic, and welcoming spirit of the people in the Beatrice area, and she looks forward to giving back through patient care and community involvement.
“I’m so happy to be here,” she said.
