Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center prohibits the use of any tobacco product or electronic cigarette on its hospital campus and affiliated hospital properties, including its clinics.
In 1994, the Board of Directors implemented a policy that prohibited smoking in all buildings. To further advance the health and safety of its employees, patients, and visitors, this policy was expanded to include both indoor and outdoor hospital property, such as parking lots.
At Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center we are clearing the air! We define a “smoke-free campus environment” as one that is free from the smoking of any tobacco products, as well as those chewed or otherwise consumed, both indoors and outdoors, on all hospital property.
Thank you for your cooperation and support of our smoke- and tobacco-free policy for better health, longevity, and quality of life for patients, visitors, and staff.
