BCH Earns 2024 Performance Leadership Awards
from The Chartis Center for Rural Health

Beatrice Community Hospital is proud to announce it has earned the 2024 Chartis Performance Leadership Award for excellence in Quality and in Outcomes, meaning BCH placed in the highest percentile of all Critical Access Hospitals in the nation for these categories.

Compiled by The Chartis Center for Rural Health, the Performance Leadership Awards recognize top quartile performance (i.e., 75^th percentile or above) among rural hospitals in Quality, Outcomes and/or Patient Perspective.

This is the second year in a row, BCH was recognized in the Quality division. BCH earned recognition in the patient perspective division in 2022.

Earlier this year, Chartis recognized BCH as a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital and a Top 20 CAH for 2024.

“This recognition is another testament to the commitment and hard work that I see our employees display every day in order to provide safe and quality care for our community,” Rick Haraldson, Beatrice Community Hospital CEO, said. “They deserve a hug thank you for their dedication to delivering quality hometown care for our community.”

The Performance Leadership Awards are based on the results of the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX, a comprehensive and objective framework for assessing how rural hospitals are performing.
