Dr. Paulson reaches 100 Mark!

The BCH Surgery Team hosted a celebration party for Dr. Deann Paulson for reaching a new milestone – performing more than 100 robotic surgeries at BCH.

Dr. Paulson, a North Bend, Nebraska, native, and board-certified OB-GYN, has been providing gynecological and obstetric care at BCH since 2016.

In April of 2023, Dr. Paulson began performing robotic surgeries for hysterectomies, as well as robotic ovary and fallopian tube surgeries.

“I believe robotic surgery is the future of all surgery,” Dr. Paulson said. “It allows the surgeon to have a closer view of the anatomy while keeping the surgery minimally invasive. I believe our patients should have access to the same gynecology procedures close to home that a patient would find in a larger community, and I’m proud to be a part of the robotic surgery team here at BCH.”

The BCH OB-GYNs continue to offer vaginal surgery, as well as surgery for prolapse and incontinence.

Dr. Paulson is a member of the provider team at the Beatrice Women’s & Children’s Clinic, located at Beatrice Community Hospital.
