The Beatrice Community Hospital Women’s & Children’s Clinic is partnering with the local Blue Valley Shrine Club and the Shriners Hospitals for Children to offer free screenings for children with bone, muscle or joint problems.
Pediatrician Dr. Marilou Reyes will perform the screenings to determine if a child would benefit from seeing a pediatric orthopedic specialist at Shriners Children’s Twin Cities in Woodbury, Minnesota, with transportation provided at no cost.
The free screening will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27, at the Women’s & Children’s Clinic. The clinic is located inside Beatrice Community Hospital; use Entrance A.

Shriners Children’s Twin Cities is part of the network of Shriners Hospitals for Children which provides comprehensive medical, surgical and rehabilitative care for children under the age of 18 with orthopedic conditions regardless of the family’s ability to pay or insurance coverage. If a child requires follow-up care at the clinic, complementary transportation may be available through the local Shriners organization upon request.
